They say home is where the heart is… and in circles we travel in lately they also say home is where you park it… I am happy to report that they are correct on both counts! 🙂

This is where home is at the moment…

    • Hi Maggie,

Yes, we made a trip from Washington to California at the end of last April. We had some extra time so we took the 101. The Oregon Coast is absolutely breathtaking! Cannon Beach in particular was spectacular.

We spent the night in Newport and traveled on down through the rest of the state. Our last stop was for lunch in Brookings at a fabulously funky little pizza pub called Zola’s.

We’ve had to make that trip a few times now, but usually we take I-5 to save time. So we’ve seen that part of the state as well. I love the trams in Portland and the eclectic feel of the urban skyline.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment! 🙂

    • Thanks Shelley, it was a fun year! We’re still up in your neck of the woods… rainy & windy Anacortes, WA. It actually hasn’t been too bad and I love the lushness of the scenery. 🙂

  2. Thanks for your review of the RV park in Reno–we are looking for someplace to stay in August for Hot August Nights!

All comments are appreciated! Go ahead... tell me what you're thinking :-)
