Maple Grove RV Resort

Well, we pulled up stakes from Maple Grove RV Resort over the weekend and headed even farther up Interstate 5 in Washington to Anacortes… an absolutely beautiful location. But before I get ahead of myself, let me tell you about where we had been calling home for the past three weeks.

We stayed in Everett, Washington at a great little RV park called Maple Grove RV Resort. It’s located on Hwy 99 not too far off Interstate 5. The location of the park was great as it’s only a few miles from Boeing, which was where Joe worked on a quick project.

The sites at Maple Grove are designed with a nice size patio with room for one vehicle. We had enough room to park the truck without any problems. The park is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. These pictures don’t really do it justice because of the gloomy sky… but it really is a lovely park. Unfortunately, it seems I missed the one really sunny day we had to get better ones. It didn’t rain every single day we were there, just most of them. But hey, we were there in December/January so that weather is to be expected.

Nice size site with designated patio space.

Although the park is in Everett, WA, a busy place considering Boeing and many other major businesses operate there, you get a sense of being off the beaten path and nestled among the pines.
It's a bit strange to know that the sun is there... but just about always be hiding.
See! The sun is there… but it’s just about always hiding.

The amenities at the park are nicely updated and maintained as well.

Nicely updated shower and bath facilities.
Very clean and always fresh smelling showers.
Great laundry room, well-lit with nice desk area for folding clothes.

While the weather may have been a bit dreary and raw, the management team at Maple Grove RV Resort was nothing but warm and welcoming. Charlotte was very helpful and accommodating upon our arrival, which was a little earlier than the standard check-in time. Even though we were early, she made us feel very much at home. Her counterpart, Don, checked in on us to make sure we were getting settled in alright and proved to be a wealth of information on everything from where to get a great breakfast or dinner to where to get the best pedicure in town!

If you’re ever in the Everett area, either for work or play, I highly recommend the park for either a weekend or an extended stay visit.

Happy Travels!
